About the role

  • Write comprehensive, structured test plans: functional coverage, edge cases, stress
  • Execute validation campaigns across mechanical, electronic, and firmware layers
  • Own Pass/Fail decisions autonomously: documented, justified, and defended
  • Produce clear, actionable test reports highlighting risks and potential failures
  • Challenge hardware design choices based on validation evidence — not just validate, but analyze
  • Work closely with development and industrialization teams to secure production readiness
  • Contribute directly to achieving a defect rate ≤ 3% across the installed base
  • Ensure zero critical issues are discovered during production and testing phases

Requirements

  • Engineering background in Embedded Systems, Mechatronics, or a related field
  • Strong full‑stack hardware expertise (electronics, mechanics, firmware)
  • Practical experience troubleshooting real-world hardware issues, not just theoretical design
  • Proven ability to write test plans with clear structure, coverage, and acceptance criteria
  • Autonomous in Pass/Fail decision-making: you own your conclusions and can defend them
  • Knowledge of CE/RED and IP/IK standards
  • Exposure to industrialization and production environments
  • Highly rigorous: documentation and validation are second nature
  • Passionate about testing, validation, and building robust systems
Benefits
  • Hybrid work
  • Executive employment contract (Contrat cadre) and RTT (time off in lieu) — between 8 and 12 days per year depending on the number of public holidays
  • Choice of Mac or PC
  • 60% coverage of meal vouchers valued at €9 per working day
  • Sustainable mobility allowance
  • Health insurance (Mutuelle via Alan)
  • Offices located in central Paris (9th arrondissement)
  • Annual company offsite and regular team events
