About the role
- Designing mechanical parts and sub-assemblies using SolidWorks.
- Producing all 3D designs and technical drawings required for manufacturing.
- Creating and maintaining Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Precisely documenting assembly processes.
- Performing design validation tests.
- Evolving and improving existing system components.
- Eventually designing a new product from scratch.
- Working closely with the Industrialization Engineer, as well as with procurement teams and manufacturing partners.
Requirements
- 5 to 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering, ideally in a constrained industrial environment.
- Strong mastery of CAD tools, particularly SolidWorks.
- Ability to work with a high level of autonomy.
- Solid understanding of mechanical constraints, especially IP and IK ratings.
- Ability to integrate electronic constraints from the early design phases.
- Professional proficiency in English (as the team is becoming more international).
