About the role

  • Build, assemble, install, and maintain the Quantum Space Node Lite™ (QSN-L)
  • Assemble QSN-L nodes from components: Raspberry Pi, microcontrollers, cameras, LED strips, pressure sensors, environmental sensors, enclosures
  • Perform basic soldering, crimping, and cable management
  • Install QSN-L nodes in real parking spaces
  • Ensure all installs are safe, weather-resistant, visually clean, and non-intrusive
  • Work with low-voltage power systems (5V–12V DC)
  • Conduct on-site testing and troubleshooting
  • Perform periodic inspections and maintenance of nodes
  • Provide feedback on installation and component issues

Requirements

  • Comfortable with tools (drill, drivers, wire strippers, soldering iron)
  • Basic understanding of electronics and wiring
  • Experience with: Raspberry Pi, Arduino, ESP32, or similar
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams and follow SOPs
  • Physically able to work outdoors and on job sites
  • Low-voltage electrical experience (nice to have)
  • IoT or smart device installation experience (nice to have)
  • Fabrication or 3D printing exposure (nice to have)
  • Construction, AV, or field technician background (nice to have)
