About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for the design, operation, and maintenance of all systems, software, and processes used for issuing payments, managing expense reports, and accepting payment
- Supervision of the Analyst of Payables Systems and the Manager of Payment Systems & Compliance
- Supervise processes regarding procurement cards
- Supervise the review and reconciliation of procurement card transactions
- Supervise and iterate improvements to the procurement card training program
- Supervise Payment Card Industry (PCI) rules risk assessments
- Supervise the creation of payment systems
- Business process design and redesign, systems security, and management of interfaces between systems
- Leadership on payables systems and utilization of existing systems
- Manage integrations with banking partner and AI systems
- Development and implementation of standard operating procedures
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree
- 6-8 years’ experience in a finance, accounting, business, or technology management
- Project management and/or business process design experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Advanced degree in business, finance, accounting, technology management, or related field (preferred)
- Experience in a higher education environment (preferred)
- Experience with project management (preferred)
- Experience with travel & expense management (preferred)
- Experience with corporate card administration and tools (preferred)
- Experience with Workday Financials (preferred)
- Experience with technology change management protocols (preferred)
