About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Supports two NCI R01 funded grants focused on outreach, genetic education, and cancer genetic testing in cancer survivors
- Conducts electronic health record review to identify eligible patients
- Recruits eligible cancer survivors and conducts intervention usability testing sessions
- Conducts telephone-based study surveys and monitors study milestones
- Maintains files, conducts quality assurance, and performs database programming
- Collects behavioral and epidemiological data through interviews and confirms subject eligibility
- Reviews patient charts for pathology information and approaches potential study participants
Requirements
What you’ll need- B.A. or B.S. in a behavioral science or public health related discipline
- At least one year of public health or social science research experience that includes interaction with human subjects and data management
- Experience with database software (REDCap, MS Access)
- Experience with statistical software (SPSS, SAS, R)
