About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide comprehensive career, externship, and professional development advising to graduate students and alumni
  • Develop career-related programming and training for students, including skills workshops and panel discussions
  • Co-supervise OGC’s Recruitment Coordinator/Manager
  • Manage all aspects of the Taxation Interview Program and other career fairs or on-campus interview programs
  • Conduct marketing and outreach to potential employers
  • Provide individual and group counseling and assistance to graduate law students and alumni on job search strategies
  • Develop and manage career-related programs
  • Track and manage statistics and analytics regarding employment outcomes and student interactions with OGC

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Juris Doctor or equivalent law degree (LL.M. degree preferred)
  • Experience practicing law for at least five years
  • Knowledge and interest in law school administration and student services
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive)
  • Previous career counseling, marketing, and workshop planning experience preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills demonstrated by strong writing, proofreading, and editing skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills shown by the ability to make presentations and communicate with students on a one-on-one and group basis
  • Commitment to working with a diverse student body and faculty
  • High energy level for student service
  • Ability to work independently and exercise good judgment
