About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree and 4-5 years of closely related experience in program administration, budget planning, financial management, and fiscal stewardship, with supervisory experience.
  • Master’s degree in a relevant field such as environmental studies, global health, security studies, or science and technology studies is strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to manage operating budgets, forecast expenses, and ensure compliance with university financial policies.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills and the capacity to interact effectively with a diverse community, including students, faculty, staff, university administrators, academic counterparts, donors, members of the media, etc.
  • Strong orientation to detail, deadlines, professionalism, and client service, and excellent interpersonal and written communication
  • Must have the ability to provide complex and efficient administrative support and prioritize effectively
  • Proficiency in technologies related to the functions of the position, including Google apps, MS Office, social media, and web design required
  • Experience in fundraising, donor management and grant writing preferred
  • Strong quantitative skills and experience with managing large volumes of data and database queries preferred
  • Work experience related to science, technology and international affairs preferred
