About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsible for the planning, implementation, and administrative support of the Graduate & Executive Degree portfolio of programs.
  • Ensure the effective coordination of program activities, supports faculty, students, and stakeholders, and helps maintain the program's compliance with university policies and accreditation requirements.
  • Enhance the visibility and effectiveness of the program while contributing to student success.
  • Work year-round on a variety of operational tasks that are critical to the successful delivery of programmatic and academic activities in the Graduate & Executive Degree portfolio.
  • Ensure case rooms are reserved for classes, recordings are scheduled with the tech team, and catering is reserved when applicable.
  • Participate in the vendor contracting and payment processes, ensuring services are properly contracted and vendors are paid on time.
  • Develop a teaching calendar per program annually and monitor for changes.
  • Maintain program records, reports, and databases for tracking student rosters, progress, and outcomes.
  • Assist in developing and implementing policies, procedures, and best practices for program management.
  • Provide logistical and administrative support for program events, workshops, and meetings in collaboration with the Student Services team of GEDP.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • A minimum of 2 of program management experience in a professional setting requiring organization of large volumes of data, meeting deadlines, completing projects, and working within a team
  • Must have a strong and effective communication engine capable of handling a large volume of multiple communication tasks simultaneously while delivering accurate, informational, directive, and clear information, both verbally and in writing, to wide range of stakeholders including university colleagues, faculty, executives, vendors, and early- and mid-career professionals
  • Must have a demonstrated, expert use of the Microsoft suite and Google suite of products, with a special focus on MS-WORD, MS-EXCEL, GMAIL, and Google Drive.
  • Must be able to understand, work from, and manage simple and sometimes complex financial plans, such as program budgets.
  • Must be able to monitor, manage, and designs large databases, such as student rosters and co-curricular calendars
  • Must be capable of functioning independently and with complete discretion since much of the information related to students, both applicants and degree candidates, is highly confidential and protected by law.
  • Little to no supervision is expected on the vast majority of tasks
  • Ability to work collaboratively on a small team
  • Must be ready and able to travel up to 5% of the year to domestic and international locations to support global programs
