About the role
- Developing, implementing, monitoring, and staffing a higher education clinical case management system
- Working closely with staff clinicians and University staff to identify higher risk students
- Providing brief intervention and/or bridged clinical care as needed
- Performing triage, clinical assessments, brief intervention/bridged care
- Offering crisis intervention and risk assessment for students presenting with risk to self or others
- Maintaining confidentiality of student information according to ethical and legal guidelines
Requirements
- Master’s degree in social work
- Must possess clinical licensure with the District of Columbia Department of Health (LICSW)
- Two years post-graduate experience in providing mental health clinical case management/care management
- Excellent clinical skills and ability to make sound analytical/diagnostic determinations
- Proven track record establishing and maintaining effective working relationships both within the university and with outside agencies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
