About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Produce geospatial content from visual interpretation of available project inputs (orthophotos, façade photos, subdivision plans, etc.).
Support project execution planning in the acquisition, processing, and management of geoprocessing and quality information, conducting technical data collection and analyzing required inputs based on qualitative and quantitative aspects.
Interpret documents for the technical specification (geographic modeling and thematic representation) of components and requirements for geoprocessing solutions.
Monitor the development of geoprocessing workflows, performing technical tasks for raster and vector generation and controlling the quality of produced outputs to ensure conformity with project plans.
Provide information to improve image and vector product generation processes.
Communicate with clients via e-mail at all stages of the project.
Track project progress and prepare status reports.
Support the team in project execution.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed higher education degree in Geography, Cartographic Engineering, Architecture, Geoprocessing Technology, Forestry Engineering, Biology, Environmental Engineering, or related fields.
Basic knowledge of Cartography.
Basic MS Office skills.
Basic knowledge of GIS tools (QGIS, AutoCAD, etc.) and/or digital image processing tools (PCI, PIX4D, etc.).
Basic understanding of Relational Databases.
Basic English.
