About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Receive, analyze and execute technical requests submitted through the company's management systems
Configure, parameterize and deploy features of Geopixel systems
Prepare, validate, verify and load data
Run SQL queries for analysis and data validation
Manipulate and validate spatial and cartographic data
Perform functional and operational tests to ensure delivery quality
Document test results and the procedures performed
Support the implementation and validation of municipal digital processes
Participate in the analysis of business rules related to municipal public processes
Collaborate with Product, Development, Projects and Business teams to evolve solutions
Identify configuration, data or system behavior issues, treating or escalating them when necessary
Support maintenance activities for environments, databases and applications
Perform basic installation and configuration of applications and services
Assist with monitoring and organizing cloud-hosted environments
Safeguard the security and integrity of information stored in Geopixel solutions
Continuously seek improvements, automation and greater efficiency in implementation processes.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in a STEM field, Computer Science or Information Technology
Basic concepts of maps, cartographic projections (e.g., EPSG:3857, EPSG:29194) and reference systems
Familiarity with vector data (points, lines, polygons) and raster data
Intermediate English
Apache Tomcat
Basic proficiency in PostgreSQL and the PostGIS spatial extension
Basic programming knowledge (Python, JavaScript)
Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and JSON
Basic knowledge of Linux and shell scripting
Aptitude for data analysis and validation
Good communication and organizational skills
Analytical and proactive mindset
Willingness to learn continuously
Familiarity with municipal processes: operating permits (Alvará), occupancy certificates (Habite-se), operating authorizations, project approvals and administrative protocols
