About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support providers with the delivery of high-quality healthcare to ambulatory patients
- Support effective operations in a fast-paced practice
- Complete and safeguard medical records
- Respond to verbal and electronic requests for information and assistance using proper policies, reference tools, and provider instructions
- Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment
- Follow emergency procedures and assist in crisis situations
- Support HR compliance processes, including completion and verification of I-9 forms
- Assist with drug screening processes, including specimen collection, shipment, and ordering supplies
- Maintain strict confidentiality of patient, provider, and organizational information
- Complete other relevant responsibilities assigned by the supervisor
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least one year of experience working in a medical office and/or mental health is preferred
- Experience working with patients suffering from anxiety and depression is preferred
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor and interface well with patients in a mental health setting is preferred
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with a team
- Excellent computer skills
- Associates or bachelor’s degree is preferred
- Some experience in healthcare settings is preferred
- Knowledge of working in a clinical setting is preferred
