About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Ensuring the protection of sensitive enterprise data
Support the implementation, monitoring, and enforcement of data security controls across the organization
Assist in protecting data across cloud, endpoint, and on-premises environments
Support initiatives such as data loss prevention (DLP), data classification, encryption, and data governance
Partner with teams across IT, Security, Risk, and Compliance to help strengthen the organization’s data security posture
Develop foundational cybersecurity skills while gaining hands-on experience with enterprise data security tools, processes, and frameworks
Assist with execution and monitoring of data security controls aligned to regulatory requirements and internal frameworks
Support audit and assessment activities through documentation and evidence collection
Contribute to reporting and dashboards for data security metrics
Stay informed on emerging data security threats and trends (e.g., insider risk, data leakage)

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science
Foundational understanding of: Information security principles (CIA triad, least privilege, defense-in-depth)
Data protection concepts (classification, encryption, DLP)
Basic knowledge of enterprise IT environments (cloud, endpoint, or networking concepts)
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
