About the role
- Editing social media video content, brand videos, events, and internal communications.
- Creating motion graphics for posts, stories, carousels, YouTube intros, and other digital content
- Working with creative leads to develop animated text, transitions, and branded overlays
- Optimizing video formats, specs, and pacing for social platforms
- Developing animated explainer videos to support product or marketing initiatives.
- Maintaining consistency with brand guidelines across all motion and video content
- Sourcing and editing music, sound, and b-roll as needed
- Supporting the creation of reusable motion templates and asset libraries for future use.
- Assisting in storyboarding and brainstorming ideas with the larger creative team
- Managing multiple edit timelines and meeting publishing deadlines across channels
- Helping maintain and evolve the visual consistency of our video content presence reporting to the Art Director
Requirements
- 3-5 years of professional experience in video editing and motion design, ideally for social media and digital campaigns
- A strong portfolio that demonstrates strong motion and video editing skills across multiple channels
- Proficiency in and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, After Effects, and Premiere)
- Familiarity with Davinci Resolve is a plus
- Solid understanding of social platform specs, trends, and best practices
- Ability to work quickly and collaboratively in a deadline-driven environment
- Knowledge of animation, storytelling techniques, and visual branding
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistency across platforms
- Positive attitude and willingness to flex across a variety of creative video needs
