Key responsibilities & impact

Leading from the front in the development, support, and delivery of quality Gentrack products
Designing solutions, sharing knowledge, and mentoring team members
Active participation in all aspects of agile software development
Successful design and delivery of software
Ability to bring others with you, engaging and enabling them to be successful
Leading workshops and designs with customers
Analyzing customer requests and producing solution artefacts
Peer reviewing large project designs
Developing, maintaining, deploying, and supporting software
Documenting to assist with knowledge transfer
Participating in planning, stand-ups, estimation, retrospectives, and backlog grooming
Identifying and highlighting relevant risk, designing and implementing mitigation and resolution strategies
Direct testing support for all system functionality
Leading projects delivering quality solutions and services through various methodologies
Providing advice to customers on operational and business strategies

Requirements

What you’ll need

8+ years commercial software development experience
Experience in senior development positions
Designing solutions in agile SDLC
Strong working knowledge of relevant technologies and concepts including Object Orientated Design, Enterprise Database, AWS, GIT, Web Services, CRM, Utilities industry, SDLC and Agile Methodologies.
A passion for excellence and a commitment to be the best .
High levels of energy, sound judgement and determination to achieve with a sense of urgency.
High attention to detail.
Excellent relationship management and interpersonal skills .
