About the role

  • Monitor the 1st tier product support queue in ServiceNow and claim unassigned cases
  • Write technical documentation to provide resolution/information and resolve cases in ServiceNow
  • Triage cases to concerned technical teams and manage case Touch Time and Turn Around Time
  • Update data related to field contacts of wind farms in e-SCADA platform
  • Correct life census of wind turbines by connecting remote desktop of particular windfarm
  • Create and distribute special instructions and daily/weekly wind farm health reports by analyzing data
  • Manage end of warranty replacement/repair claims and assign to correct technical group
  • Monitor 2nd tier support queue for technical product related assistance and perform oil analysis
  • Gearbox torque arm pin displacement analysis and review elastomer damper, cable, blade images
  • Listen to audio clips to analyze damage on main rotor bearings
  • Review engineering drawings to identify part numbers and specifications
  • Study lab reports of oil to find contamination like iron in main bearing lubricant
  • Monitor 3rd tier product support queue for events and anomalies and write technical recommendations
  • Analyze data to identify faults, diagnose sensor and circuit related anomalies, and resolve data quality issues
  • Vibration analysis using trends, time wave form, spectrum and modes
  • Configuration checks on newly added wind farms and validate turbine performance after onsite troubleshooting

Requirements

  • B.E / B.Tech – Mechanical Engineering
  • Proven experience, including certification of ISO Category I or equivalent, with machinery vibration analysis.
  • Experience working with other predictive maintenance technologies and practices.
  • Understanding of engineering drawings, service parts, spare parts, vibration analysis
  • Prior knowledge of resolving electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic malfunctions
  • Experience in Inspecting, diagnosing, adjust, or repair of offshore wind turbines (added advantage)
  • Ability to remotely work on heavy industrial machines across the globe
  • Strong communication skills; skilled at cross-functional and cross-organizational communication
  • Attention to detail and good articulation skills
