About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Oversee technical preparations for key events and collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) from each product group to ensure Genetec demonstrations are technically robust and aligned with our latest innovations
As a member of the Technical Events Engineering team, be responsible for pre-staging, shipping, and on-site installation for major events and conferences
Be responsible for all activities related to experience centers, including daily maintenance, system upgrades, customer reception, and delivering impactful demonstrations of our solutions
Act as the technical lead for on-site setup at trade shows and events
Maintain inventory of all technical equipment required to showcase Genetec's strategy at trade shows, conferences, and experience centers
Develop demo environments and training documentation for trade shows and the field sales team, highlighting key differentiators of Genetec solutions; ensure ongoing updates and maintenance
Collaborate with field sales teams to enable them to fully leverage Genetec solutions and demonstrate them effectively across channels (trade shows, conferences, 1:1 demos, experience center visits)
Work with our technology partners to integrate and showcase their solutions alongside Genetec's to present complete solutions
Work closely with regional and corporate sales and marketing teams, including events and technical engineering teams
Coordinate with corporate and regional events teams to ensure alignment between event programming and execution
Travel required up to 50%

Requirements

What you’ll need

More than 5 years of relevant experience in physical security or technology solutions sales
Strong team spirit: excellent ability to build relationships, gain buy-in, and collaborate with multiple teams
Strong technical skills combined with a creative mindset
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to adapt style to internal and external audiences
Analytical and energetic profile, with a proactive approach to challenges
Highly organized, detail-oriented, with a results- and deadline-driven approach
Ability to work both collaboratively and independently
Available to travel (up to 50%), valid passport
Fluency in French and English, both spoken and written (this role involves interactions with international colleagues and clients)
Networking knowledge (TCP/IP, switch and router configuration, wireless)
Experience deploying software, operating systems, and databases
Image creation and deployment; experience working in virtualized environments
Development of training guides or sales-oriented demo content
Assets: experience in the security industry and/or IT; experience collaborating with marketing and product teams; professional certifications such as PSP, CCNA, Security+ or equivalent.
