About the role

  • Identify and recruit new partner accounts according to territory and vertical strategy
  • Develop strong relationships to drive brand preference and secure project wins within 18 months of partnership
  • Facilitate onboarding including establishing credit accounts and signing Channel Partner Agreements
  • Deliver commercial training, manage partner learning paths, and recommend technical certifications
  • Conduct business-performance planning, stakeholder mapping, forecasting, and quarterly business reviews
  • Track partner performance metrics and develop action plans to optimize results
  • Act as product Subject Matter Expert, provide in-depth product demonstrations, and support lifecycle adoption
  • Manage partner pipeline activity, validate partner needs, and ensure sales activity is tracked in CRM
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, engineers, support, professional services, marketing, product marketing, and accounting
  • Attend industry conferences and travel to partner sites; participate in speaking engagements
  • Liaise with technology partners to align solutions and ensure integration compatibility
  • Follow up on leads assigned to partners to drive new business opportunities
  • Monitor the competitive landscape and proactively address risks to Genetec

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in channel sales or partner management, ideally within the software or technology industry
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • Proven track record in partner management, sales growth, and delivering excellent customer service
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple stakeholders
  • Proficiency in forecasting, business planning, and performance management
  • Ability to understand complex technical concepts and translate them into business value for partners
  • Experience delivering commercial training and facilitating technical certification
  • Experience with CRM and pipeline management
  • Willingness to travel as needed for partner meetings, conferences, and industry events
  • Adaptability and proactive problem-solving
  • Negotiation and influence skills
  • Results-oriented with accountability for partner outcomes
