About the role
- Enable developers to run containers consistently across cloud environments and on‑premises devices
- Create, manage, and upgrade our fleet of Kubernetes clusters
- Provide secure, reliable networking for all deployment modes
- Enable developers to build once and deploy everywhere
- Provide fast, reliable CI/CD pipelines with progressive deployments and quick rollbacks
- Support ring-based deployments and confident on‑premises delivery
- Provide standard libraries and templates to simplify application instrumentation
- Centralize telemetry ingestion while balancing cost and performance
- Enable product teams to quickly diagnose issues with relevant dashboards and insights
- Remove cloud-specific dependencies to improve portability and simplify operations
- Automate provisioning for fast, reproducible environments
- Offer secure, compliant, and reusable infrastructure components
- Continually reduce cognitive load and friction for developers using the platform
- Build and evolve Genetec’s internal developer portal (IDP)
- Collaborate closely with other teams to ensure seamless platform integration
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Previous experience in platform engineering, DevOps, SRE, or a similar role
- Ability to thrive in a fast-changing environment with shifting priorities
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work closely with highly experienced engineers
- Fluent in French and English, both spoken and written (this role requires interactions with our international colleagues and customers)
