About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive strategic outbound prospecting across enterprise and mid-market accounts using multi-channel approaches (calls, email, LinkedIn, events, and campaigns)
- Conduct in-depth account and market research, particularly within key industries, to identify high-value opportunities
- Identify, engage, and build relationships with senior decision-makers and influencers
- Partner closely with Account Executives to develop and execute account-based strategies and territory plans
- Qualify inbound and marketing-generated leads, converting them into high-quality sales opportunities
- Clearly articulate the value of Genesys Cloud and CX solutions, aligned to customer challenges and business outcomes
- Leverage data, insights, and modern tools (e.g., AI, Sales Navigator) to optimize outreach and engagement strategies
- Consistently generate qualified pipeline aligned with regional revenue targets
- Maintain accurate pipeline management, activity tracking, and reporting in Salesforce
- Meet and exceed KPIs related to pipeline creation, meetings, and conversion rates
Requirements
What you’ll need- 1–3+ years of experience in a BDR, SDR, or Inside Sales role within SaaS, CX, cloud, or technology environments
- Proven experience as an experienced BDR, with strong outbound prospecting and pipeline generation results
- Strong understanding of the New Logo East territory
- Demonstrated ability to engage mid- to senior-level stakeholders in complex organizations
- Strong business acumen, curiosity, and strategic thinking
- Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills
- Experience with Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and modern sales engagement tools
