Key responsibilities & impact

Driving the evolution of Genesys.com as a high-performance, globally scalable digital platform
Own the end-to-end strategy, architecture, and execution of the enterprise web platform
Lead modernization initiatives, introduce emerging technologies, and elevate platform performance
Define and execute the long-term technical vision and roadmap for the global web platform
Own the enterprise WordPress ecosystem, ensuring scalability, flexibility, and maintainability
Drive adoption of modern architectures, including API-driven and headless approaches
Establish and enforce engineering standards that elevate code quality, accessibility compliance, and platform reliability
Oversee hosting strategy, infrastructure performance, and CI/CD pipelines
Strengthen platform security and governance

Requirements

What you’ll need

12+ years of experience in web development, including 5+ years leading engineering teams
Deep expertise in enterprise WordPress development, including custom themes, plugins, and large-scale implementations
Strong proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, APIs, and modern web architectures
Demonstrated experience managing high-traffic, enterprise-level web platforms
Strong knowledge of hosting environments, DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and release management
Expertise in performance optimization, caching strategies, CDN configuration, and Core Web Vitals
Experience implementing technical SEO and accessibility standards such as WCAG and ADA
Proven success leading distributed or global engineering teams
