About the role
- Accountable to achieve growth and exceed indirect sales targets while driving pipeline and accurate forecasting.
- Executes and communicates partner sales strategy and setting the operational direction for assigned region.
- Develop and promote excellent, long-lasting partner relationships by working with Sales leadership and Account Executives to understand the needs of our partners and their customers.
- Develop and guide team talent while achieving overall team quota to encourage revenue for Genesys.
- Improving talent within channel team by providing team member coaching, training, and feedback.
- Work with organizations to create and implement creative go-to-market strategies.
- Create new routes to market, what will bring partnering to new heights with impact.
- Orchestrate key resources, collaborate with peers on best practices and creative ways to help team and partner to succeed.
- Further develop and grow the most strategic accounts in the region in line with allocated team quota.
- Support the expansion of the Genesys footprint within the partner ecosystem through cross-sell and up-sell opportunities.
- Coordinate development of sales and marketing materials desired for channel partners to be successful.
- Ensure partner compliance with partner agreements.
- Joins team in partner planning and review sessions, to develop mutual performance objectives and go-to-market plan within each partnership.
- Enable the Partner Managers to assist the partner in maximizing the return of their investment with Genesys.
- Assist in creating an environment of excellence, teamwork and continuous improvement with a strong demonstrable focus on growth mindset.
Requirements
- 10-12 years’ experience in SaaS industry with technology partners, sales, business development, or consulting in a global setting.
- Demonstrated history of exceeding partner sales quotas and establishing and managing partner relationships with deep knowledge of partner engagement models.
- Skilled in coaching and development, active listening, motivating others, influencing for change.
- Ability to work with complexity, while navigating and leading change in alignment with overall sales strategy.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills and ability to develop multiple team members.
- Ability to multi-task and develop multiple streams of work simultaneously.
- Experience in the Enterprise software or Customer Relationship Management industry, selling Software as a Service.
- Results-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated and takes ownership and thrives in a fast-moving environment.
- Willing to travel as required.
