About the role
- Lead successful end-to-end delivery of Genesys implementation projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives, timelines, and budgets.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including Genesys-specific and integrated project schedules that incorporate client and third-party vendor activities.
- Conduct regular project update meetings, reviewing progress, identifying risks, and implementing mitigation plans to ensure timely execution.
- Manage scope and identify growth opportunities through Project Change Requests and recommendations of additional Genesys solutions that address client needs.
- Provide consistent project reporting, including weekly status updates using standard Genesys templates and monthly leadership summaries highlighting key risks and mitigations.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders, fostering trust and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying lessons learned and recommending process enhancements to improve future project outcomes.
- Support a culture of accountability and shared success by aligning teams with Genesys’ values and customer-centric mission.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience managing Professional Services or technology implementation projects.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project and other project management tools.
- Strong ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder communication.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including client presentations.
- Proven experience delivering projects within defined budgets and timelines while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
- Ability to travel up to 30% as needed to support business and client engagements.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification (preferred).
- Experience working in SaaS or cloud-based environments (preferred).
- Familiarity with customer experience or contact center technologies (preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset (preferred).
