Associate Therapist – Mental Health Counseling

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide counseling services to adult clients
- Conduct assessments, treatment planning, and progress documentation
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical records
- Build therapeutic rapport and provide ethical, client-centered care
- Maintain a reliable weekly schedule and appointment availability
- Collaborate with administrative staff regarding scheduling and referrals
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and North Carolina licensure standards
- Participate in supervision, consultation, or team meetings as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- Active LCSWA license in North Carolina
- Master’s degree in Social Work or related field
- Strong written documentation skills
- Professional communication skills
- Reliable time management and scheduling habits
- Ability to work independently and professionally
- Experience treating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, or family stressors (preferred)
- Familiarity with EHR systems (preferred)
- Motivated to grow clinically and professionally (preferred)
- Strong client engagement and retention skills (preferred)
