About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work as part of a small (but growing) team as an integral part of the capital markets strategy
  • Execute on debt and tax equity structures that allow the company to finance individual assets and portfolios most efficiently
  • Work as a member of the deal team, supporting on all aspects of deal structuring, due diligence, and execution, and bringing transactions to a successful closing
  • Build and maintain debt and tax equity financial models to perform comparison and financial valuation analyses on potential capital structure optimization initiatives
  • Prepare materials used for investor, management, and board-level presentations to support capital management decisions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with banks, direct lenders, tax equity investors, and other relevant third-party capital providers
  • Keep up with relevant industry trends and information through research reports and news releases

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2-5 years of relevant industry experience with a demonstrated track record of supporting the structuring and closing of project finance debt and/or tax equity transactions (e.g., project & structured finance, investment banking, direct lending)
  • Undergraduate degree in a quantitative discipline or equivalent work experience, with an outstanding academic record and high level of personal integrity
  • Strong ownership mentality for all aspects of the financial modeling, due diligence, and deal execution process
  • Outstanding analytical, quantitative, and technical abilities, including expert command of tax equity and project finance modeling concepts
  • Excellent PowerPoint and presentation skills
  • Balance of creative and commercial instincts, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams concurrently in a fast-paced environment
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the desire to work with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Intellectual agility, curiosity, and creativity, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic and often ambiguous environment; intelligence and humility, unimpeachable integrity, and glowing references
  • Collaborative leadership style with strong judgment under ambiguity
