About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide development leadership for a portfolio of behind-the-meter and on-site power generation projects serving critical load customers across North America
Drive projects through all phases of development including fatal flaw analysis, site diligence and feasibility, customer coordination, utility and interconnection management, commercial negotiations, stakeholder engagement, and transition to construction
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and manage external developers, consultants, OEMs, EPC contractors, utilities, and regulatory bodies
Prepare and deliver presentations to customers, executives, and community stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need

6-8+ years of experience in power, infrastructure, energy, or related project development roles
Deep understanding of the end-to-end power project development lifecycle
Experience developing distributed generation, thermal generation, microgrid, CHP, renewable, or other energy infrastructure projects
Strong familiarity with utility interconnection processes, permitting frameworks, and power market dynamics
Experience working directly with large commercial or industrial energy customers is strongly preferred
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in engineering, business, environmental policy, or related field preferred.
