Develop efficiencies in material flow
Support and define implementation of new processes and equipment
Conduct root cause analysis and problem solving
Provide technical support and direction to support personnel and skilled trades
Develop and support safety protocols
Ensure assembly processes run effectively for engine manufacturing

Requirements

What you’ll need

Pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Controls Engineering, Controls Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Engineering/Materials Science, or Manufacturing Engineering
Must be graduating between August 2027 and June 2029
Able to work full-time, 40 hours per week
Must be willing to work in a plant environment
Must be able to walk and stand for prolonged periods
Must be able to read standardized work instructions, operate machines and tools, and perform quality inspections
Must promptly detect and respond to safety instructions, alarms, and signals
Must wear personal protective equipment, including safety glasses, gloves, hats, ear plugs, and safety shoes
Must be able to work in a loud manufacturing environment that is not climate controlled
Must frequently and repetitively bend, twist, kneel, crouch, and reach
Must lift or carry materials weighing up to 15 pounds and periodically up to 40 pounds
Must occasionally sit, climb ladders and lifts, and drive vehicles and equipment
Must not require GM immigration sponsorship now or in the future, including H-1B, OPT, STEM OPT, CPT, TN, or J-1 support
