Key responsibilities & impact

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering
  • Must be graduating between August 2027 and June 2029
  • Able to work full-time, 40 hours per week
  • Must be willing to work in a plant environment
  • Outstanding interpersonal and relationship management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong character with integrity, honesty, accountability and trust
  • Innovative, customer-centric thinking
  • Project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects
  • Ability to walk and stand for prolonged periods
  • Ability to read standardized work instructions, operate machines and tools, and perform quality inspections
  • Ability to detect and respond to safety instructions, alarms, and signals
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment
  • Ability to work in a loud, non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment
  • Ability to repetitively bend, twist, kneel, crouch, and reach
  • Ability to lift or carry materials up to 15 pounds and periodically up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to occasionally sit, climb ladders and lifts, and drive vehicles and equipment
  • Must not require GM immigration sponsorship now or in the future, including H-1B, OPT, STEM OPT, CPT, TN, and J-1 support
