Key responsibilities & impact

Analyze the efficiency of manufacturing operations and changes involving personnel, materials, machines, and facilities
Recommend or confirm changes to layouts, labor control, and material control

Requirements

What you’ll need

Pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering
Must be graduating between August 2027 and June 2029
Able to work full-time, 40 hours per week
Must be willing to work in a plant environment
Outstanding interpersonal and relationship management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong character with integrity, honesty, accountability and trust
Innovative, customer-centric thinking
Project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects
Ability to walk and stand for prolonged periods
Ability to read standardized work instructions, operate machines and tools, and perform quality inspections
Ability to detect and respond to safety instructions, alarms, and signals
Ability to wear personal protective equipment
Ability to work in a loud, non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment
Ability to repetitively bend, twist, kneel, crouch, and reach
Ability to lift or carry materials up to 15 pounds and periodically up to 40 pounds
Ability to occasionally sit, climb ladders and lifts, and drive vehicles and equipment
Must not require GM immigration sponsorship now or in the future, including H-1B, OPT, STEM OPT, CPT, TN, and J-1 support
