About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build and maintain a full-stack software platform across frontend, backend, and data layers
- Refactor prototypes into robust, production-grade code for high-volume transactions
- Apply automated testing, error handling, observability, and reliability practices to software, agentic frameworks, and automation pipelines
- Design complex workflows such as agentic frameworks and LLM chaining
- Manage API connections between predictive models, legacy systems, third-party platforms, and user interfaces
- Build agents and automations within Databricks, Glean, Azure AI Foundry, and Google tooling
- Implement logging, monitoring, and self-recovery mechanisms
- Document and evangelize engineering best practices and design patterns
- Coach other teams on building reliable, testable agents and automations
- Serve as the technical escalation point for complex code-related issues after deployment
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in Software Development, Automation Engineering, or Backend Engineering
- Strong proficiency with ReactJS/Vite, Python, PostgreSQL, and Databricks
- Experience with REST APIs and workflow orchestration tools
- Strong focus on code quality, error handling, and testing across traditional software and agentic/automation systems
- Ability to rapidly learn and build production-quality agents and automations within Databricks, Glean, Azure AI Foundry, and Google tooling
