About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and manage the global visualization studio for General Motors
- Oversee the production lifecycle of visualization assets from concept through delivery
- Develop strategies to improve visualization efficiency and quality using Siemens Teamcenter and Viz Mockup
- Lead and mentor visualization professionals
- Build relationships with engineering, design, marketing, and external partners
- Ensure deliverables meet GM standards for color differentiation and accuracy
- Manage project timelines and resources using GSTS for tracking and reporting
- Identify and implement cost-effective visualization solutions
- Provide guidance on visualization techniques, injection moldings, and manufacturing processes
- Drive continuous improvement and monitor industry trends and best practices
- Own the end-to-end production model across brands and pillars
- Lead producer layers and establish project planning, resourcing, scheduling, and delivery expectations
- Partner with Brand Liaisons and Creative Leads on production logistics and delivery
- Maintain shared tools and review cadences for visible status, priorities, and ownership
- Drive consistent use of foundational 3D assets and standards across workstreams
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Industrial Design, Computer Graphics, or Engineering
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in visualization, including 5 years in a leadership role
- Proven expertise in Siemens Teamcenter and Viz Mockup
- Demonstrated Collaboration A and effective teamwork abilities
- Strong understanding of Color Differentiation principles
- Exceptional Commercial Acumen and project management skills
- Proficiency in GSTS (Global Status and Timing) or similar project management methodologies
- Experience with Injection Moldings and their visual representation
- Networking and professional relationship-building abilities
- Proficiency in Reviewing Parts in Math for accuracy and detail
