About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Act as a liaison between GM, its dealerships, and additional GM Partners
- Grow and foster dealership partnerships
- Facilitate mentorship and consulting to ensure monthly and yearly sales objectives are met
- Track dealership Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) and other customer feedback to identify deficiencies or opportunities
- Assist with product launches and streamline marketing and advertising between dealers, independent aftermarket, and GM
- Monitor dealership personnel training and compliance with GM requirements and objectives
- Assist with dealership inventory management, including vehicle and parts ordering and inventory stabilization
- Analyze dealer sales, local markets, and competition to identify revenue opportunities
- Increase sales of GM vehicles and accessory parts
- Assist in customer problem resolution
- Travel to dealers throughout the designated region
- Manage and engage Buick/GMC dealers through recurring visits and on-the-ground support
- Develop and implement marketing initiatives, customer retention activities, product displays, financial analysis, and training
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of experience in the automotive industry in lieu of a degree
- 4+ years of experience in sales and customer service
- Ability to establish relationships through partnership
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and adapt to changing market conditions
- Presentation skills
- Coachable mindset and willingness to learn
- Time management skills
- Flexibility to travel within the district and relocate when needed
- Composure and conflict management skills
- Data orientation and ability to manage reports and data daily
- Able to travel 100% and be mobile now and in the future
- Able to relocate anywhere within the United States
- Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle on a regular basis
- Successful completion of a Motor Vehicle Report review
- Must not require GM immigration-related sponsorship now or in the future
- Must live in an approved city within the assigned territory or relocate within the specified timeline
