About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the vehicle closures engineering team to deliver on-time, high-quality engineering releases
- Provide technical direction on design, integration, and validation for vehicle closure systems
- Promote innovation and continuous improvement
- Oversee engineering documentation and release discipline
- Partner with Program Teams, Manufacturing, Quality, and suppliers
- Drive issue identification and root cause resolution
- Develop and manage plans, priorities, and resource allocation

Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field
- 8+ years of automotive engineering experience
- Proven experience with engineering release, system integration, and validation
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage ambiguity, prioritize effectively, and work independently
