About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide testing support for in-vehicle infotainment applications
Create, implement, maintain, and enhance test plans, test scripts and test methodologies
Collaborate with Product Owners to elaborate user stories
Review upcoming requirements for impact to testing
Collaborate with developers to improve overall product quality by emphasizing defect prevention throughout the development process
Identify and analyze defects and test results
Communicate testing results in conjunction with test plans
Identify areas for test improvement through analysis, experience and use of metrics
Ensure that the project schedule is adhered to and the work is completed according to the schedule
Maintain defect reports and status during test cycles
Compare expected results to actual results and investigate and resolve discrepancies
Update management regularly about the progress of testing activities.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related field of study
Two (2) years of experience as a Test Lead, Lead Engineer or related occupation
Two (2) years of experience with Software testing experience
Testing tools such as TFS
Software development lifecycle and software development methodologies and process workflow
Executing both manual and automated test scripts to verify infotainment components based off the functional requirements
Context-based, exploratory, or scenario testing
System integration, regression, or application performance testing
Work in an Agile Development Environment.
