About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide testing support for in-vehicle infotainment applications
  • Create, implement, maintain, and enhance test plans, test scripts and test methodologies
  • Collaborate with Product Owners to elaborate user stories
  • Review upcoming requirements for impact to testing
  • Collaborate with developers to improve overall product quality by emphasizing defect prevention throughout the development process
  • Identify and analyze defects and test results
  • Communicate testing results in conjunction with test plans
  • Identify areas for test improvement through analysis, experience and use of metrics
  • Ensure that the project schedule is adhered to and the work is completed according to the schedule
  • Maintain defect reports and status during test cycles
  • Compare expected results to actual results and investigate and resolve discrepancies
  • Update management regularly about the progress of testing activities.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related field of study
  • Two (2) years of experience as a Test Lead, Lead Engineer or related occupation
  • Two (2) years of experience with Software testing experience
  • Testing tools such as TFS
  • Software development lifecycle and software development methodologies and process workflow
  • Executing both manual and automated test scripts to verify infotainment components based off the functional requirements
  • Context-based, exploratory, or scenario testing
  • System integration, regression, or application performance testing
  • Work in an Agile Development Environment.
