About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead release of HVAC and thermal components through the full development cycle
- Own requirements, BOM accuracy, release documentation, engineering changes, and issue tracking
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to meet comfort, defog/defrost, efficiency, cost, timing, quality, and service targets
- Develop specifications, drawings, validation plans, and release records
- Manage supplier execution, design reviews, manufacturability, and technical issue resolution
- Lead root cause analysis, corrective actions, and support prototype, test, launch, and post-launch activities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Automotive, or related engineering field
- Experience in design release, product engineering, component development, or vehicle/system integration
- Experience leading parts or systems through design, validation, release, and launch
- Strong knowledge of drawings, GD&T, materials, manufacturing, and design-for-manufacturing
- Experience with CAD, release systems, supplier coordination, and structured problem solving
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
