About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design and develop critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas to support the organization’s business objectives.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with business, technology, and designers to build new capabilities, platforms, features and improving existing capabilities.
  • Customize, develop, and support solutions on the Force.com platform.
  • Drive Salesforce enhancements and improvements.
  • Build integrations between salesforce and other internal systems to automate business processes.
  • Develop Apex (classes and triggers) and Java Script, Lightning Components, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, Flows, Omni Script and Flex Cards to extend Salesforce.
  • Verify solutions by writing and executing automated test classes.
  • Collaborate, mentor and guide other engineers within the team.
  • Document and analyze processes, procedures, and ensure code is properly documented.
  • Create and maintain a code repository to ensure a seamless deployment process for all team members.
  • Stay current on the latest trends and Salesforce releases. Salesforce Administrator certification.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, or related field of study and Five (5) years of experience as a Salesforce Engineer, Software Engineer, or related role.
  • OR Master’s degree Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, or related field of study and Three (3) years of experience as a Salesforce Engineer, Software Engineer, or related role.
  • Requires three (3) years of experience with the following: Force.com Apex (classes and triggers), Lightning Components, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, Flows, Omni Script, Flex Cards, JavaScript (ES6), ReactJS or similar platforms; Software development; Designing and developing large scale technology solutions with substantial insights into Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Communities; Object Oriented (OO) design patterns; Salesforce's SOQL and SOSL, Security model, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Chatter and Force.com product offerings; Designing in Salesforce Lightning UI; User-based security models; Database concepts and data modeling design; Modeling and application design and architecture; and Identifying platform risks, issues and dependencies.
