About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the lead professional for labor consulting and litigation consulting.
  • Provide legal and strategic support to leadership, mitigating labor risks.
  • Support and/or lead union negotiations and collective bargaining discussions.
  • Act proactively in the interpretation and application of labor legislation.
  • Coordinate strategies for the management of labor contingencies.
  • Guide investigations and assessments related to labor and employment matters.
  • Build strong partnerships with HR and other corporate functions.
  • Provide support for union negotiations across all GM plants in Brazil.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor of Laws degree and OAB active.
  • Solid experience in labor and employment law and union relations.
  • Experience advising leaders in a consultative role within a corporate environment.
  • Experience with collective bargaining, conflict management, and labor risk assessment.
  • Experience leading teams and coordinating demands with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of Brazilian labor legislation and compliance practices applicable to the corporate environment.
  • Mandatory English proficiency.
