About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the lead professional for labor consulting and litigation consulting.
- Provide legal and strategic support to leadership, mitigating labor risks.
- Support and/or lead union negotiations and collective bargaining discussions.
- Act proactively in the interpretation and application of labor legislation.
- Coordinate strategies for the management of labor contingencies.
- Guide investigations and assessments related to labor and employment matters.
- Build strong partnerships with HR and other corporate functions.
- Provide support for union negotiations across all GM plants in Brazil.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor of Laws degree and OAB active.
- Solid experience in labor and employment law and union relations.
- Experience advising leaders in a consultative role within a corporate environment.
- Experience with collective bargaining, conflict management, and labor risk assessment.
- Experience leading teams and coordinating demands with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of Brazilian labor legislation and compliance practices applicable to the corporate environment.
- Mandatory English proficiency.
