About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop various PCB layout designs for existing and new architecture-based ECUs
Collaborate with PCBA and ECAD engineers
Run simulations, create PCB layouts, and participate in design direction meetings
Create / lead / verify the layout design by conducting design rule checks (DRC) and design for manufacturability (DFM) checks
Collaborate closely with circuit designers, system engineers, and packaging engineers
Optimize the layout design for performance, power, area, and manufacturability

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor of Science in Engineering
5 years working experience in PCB layout design
Professional experience creating digital/analog HW interfaces including schematic creation and/or PCB layout, simulation & supportive documentation
Experience in design & analysis tools like Mentor Graphics (schematic & layout)
