About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the Engineering team
Establish clear goals, priorities, roles, and performance expectations
Build a high-performance culture grounded in safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
Manage the deployment of Engineering resources across multiple concurrent projects
Ensure Engineering support is integrated early in scope development
Drive technical consistency, standards, and knowledge capture
Promote consistent engineering approaches across projects and sites
Partner with Construction project leaders, Global Real Estate, and external partners
Bring disciplined judgment to design reviews and constructability issues

Requirements

What you’ll need

Significant experience leading engineering, design, or construction-related teams in a complex capital-project environment
Recognized senior technical expertise in facilities engineering, design, and construction
Strong experience with facilities design and construction activities across manufacturing and/or large, technically complex facilities projects
Advanced knowledge and broad experience across the areas led
Proven leadership in performance management, coaching, talent development, and team capability building
Strong ability to assign and coordinate technical work and manage competing priorities
Working knowledge of engineering drawings, specifications, and construction contracts
Strong understanding of financial and commercial aspects of capital facilities projects
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred
