About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the Engineering team
  • Establish clear goals, priorities, roles, and performance expectations
  • Build a high-performance culture grounded in safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Manage the deployment of Engineering resources across multiple concurrent projects
  • Ensure Engineering support is integrated early in scope development
  • Drive technical consistency, standards, and knowledge capture
  • Promote consistent engineering approaches across projects and sites
  • Partner with Construction project leaders, Global Real Estate, and external partners
  • Bring disciplined judgment to design reviews and constructability issues

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Significant experience leading engineering, design, or construction-related teams in a complex capital-project environment
  • Recognized senior technical expertise in facilities engineering, design, and construction
  • Strong experience with facilities design and construction activities across manufacturing and/or large, technically complex facilities projects
  • Advanced knowledge and broad experience across the areas led
  • Proven leadership in performance management, coaching, talent development, and team capability building
  • Strong ability to assign and coordinate technical work and manage competing priorities
  • Working knowledge of engineering drawings, specifications, and construction contracts
  • Strong understanding of financial and commercial aspects of capital facilities projects
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred
