About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Create and design the physical layout of integrated circuits (ICs) or printed circuit boards (PCBs).
Place and route components, traces, and other elements to ensure proper functionality and performance.
Create and verify the layout design by conducting design rule checks (DRC) and design for manufacturability (DFM) checks.
Collaborate closely with other design teams, such as circuit designers, system engineers, and packaging engineers, to understand design requirements and constraints.
Work to optimize the layout design for performance, power, area, and manufacturability.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Computer Engineering, or related field of study.
Ten (10) years of experience as a Program Manager, Project Manager, Solution Architect, or related occupation
Requires ten (10) years of experience with the following: Creating digital and analog HW PCB layout including HDI and high-power boards; Simulation support and supportive documentation including integrating IPC standards; Layout design; High speed Communication Buses; Leading design and supplier teams; and Planning PCB design roadmaps.
Requires eight (8) years of experience with the following: Design tools including Mentor Graphics.
