About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Oversee and manage GM Europe's legal affairs under the supervision of the Regional General Counsel
Provide proactive legal services related to corporate/commercial matters, employment, litigation management, and more
Direct external legal counsel and collaborate with other legal counsel within GM's legal staff
Contribute to GM Europe’s success by combining legal and business acumen
Manage multiple large-scale projects and collaborate with business units

Requirements

What you’ll need

15 years of experience in top-tier private practice or in-house
Extensive experience in the manufacturing, consumer products, or technology sector
Preference for candidates with extensive automotive experience
A law degree (J.D. or equivalent)
Admitted to practice law in Europe or North America
Fluency in English; proficiency in German and French is an asset
