About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build partnerships and work closely with functional peers across engineering, purchasing, and suppliers to implement semiconductor strategic objectives.
Develop SORs (Statement of Requirements) and release semiconductors to facilitate on-time sourcing and integration with ECUs in accordance with Global Vehicle Development Process and program timing requirements.
Run a Product Development Team (PDT) consisting of all internal and external partners ensuring semiconductors are designed, produced and production ready.
Build strong semiconductor fabrication partner relationships ensuring clear understanding of manufacturing process, supply chain business arrangements.
Project manage ongoing process/product design changes related to semiconductors within scope of responsibility and present progress to leadership.
Work with system engineers, software engineers, and hardware engineers to define and implement a full Ethernet system solution.
Establish domain expertise for semiconductors product line within scope of responsibility.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science or relevant discipline.
2+ years of engineering experience as a DRE, OR at a semiconductor supplier, OR at Tier 1 ECU supplier.
1+ year of engineering experience in electronic hardware design and development.
Working knowledge of automotive electronic hardware and automotive software architecture.
Exceptional collaboration and teamwork skills; demonstrated ability for working across functional and organizational boundaries.
Exceptional demonstrated experience leading projects to completion.
Strong problem-solving skills and proven ability to learn quickly.
