About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead one or more engineering areas across multiple manufacturing facilities
Responsible for defining and specifying how Semi-Permanent Mold and Precision Sand cast products are manufactured
Provide leadership and direction to the Process/Tooling team supporting a team of 9–14 engineers
Drive cross-site read-across of best practices, lessons learned, and standardized tools and processes
Manage the testing and installation of equipment, tooling, and technologies both on-site and off-site

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of supervisory or people leadership experience preferred
Demonstrated technical knowledge of foundry processes
5+ years of leadership experience in Low Pressure Die Casting
5+ years of budget management experience
Basic knowledge of Magma, Flow-3D, or similar simulation software
Basic knowledge of NX, CATIA, or other 3D design software
Working knowledge of aluminum chemistry, heat treat, and metallurgical processes
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
