About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

This team is responsible for sourcing Technology purchases (Software, Software as a Service, Infrastructure) on a regional and global basis.
Primary responsibility is to develop, negotiate and implement sourcing strategies.
Partner with IT and Business on strategy of supply base, technologies, products used, future products, technology roadmap, and viable suppliers.
Active and effective participation with key stakeholders, including Engineering, IT, Business Stakeholders, Legal, and Security.
Develop and manage suppliers under the guidance of quality, service, technology, and price negotiations.
Manage annual renewal cadence and deadlines proactively.
Negotiate competitive pricing, robust terms, and potential other items to complete a full contract package.
Develop and maintain benchmark data to drive a strategy.

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years relevant experience in purchasing (any internship or co-op experience will not be considered)
Analytical Thinking - Ability to effectively negotiate all terms and conditions.
Strategic Mindset – Strong strategic thinking.
Data Judgement - Ability to objectively analyze data and draw meaningful conclusions.
Informative Communication - Ability to communicate relevant information effectively and timely
Relationship Management - Develops and maintains constructive, cooperative working relationships
Negotiation – Drive collaborative discussions to reach meaningful agreements
Results Focus - Take charge without prompting
Workload Management - Manage multiple tasks with quality
SAP experience or ability to learn purchasing systems
High level knowledge about Software/ technology Purchasing
Strong proficiency with basic software concepts and ability to speak to Legal & Commercial Terms & Conditions
Ability to travel 10% of the time domestically + Internationally
