About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Utilize engineering tools and processes to successfully develop components and systems for vehicle programs
- Achieve program milestones by thorough and effective program management
- Coach and lead suppliers to timely execution of program work with excellence
- Develop various PCB layout designs for ECUs, collaborate with PCBA and ECAD engineers, run simulations, create PCB layouts
- Conduct design rule checks (DRC) and design for manufacturability (DFM) checks
- Create/collaborate with other design teams to optimize the layout design for performance, power, area, and manufacturability
- Collaborate with component engineers, procurement, and supply chain teams to select appropriate components for PCBA design
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor of Science in Engineering
- Minimum 5 years working experience in PCB layout design
- Professional experience creating digital/analog HW interfaces including schematic creation and/or PCB layout, simulation & supportive documentation
- Experience in design & analysis tools like Mentor Graphics (schematic & layout)
