About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform quarterly and annual vehicle warranty studies for and calculations of base passenger vehicle warranty
  • Calculate and report on monthly accruals for global warranty expenses and liabilities for vehicles
  • Perform monthly warranty account reconciliations in the Accounting Reconciliation Manual (ARM) system
  • Perform warranty quarterly adequacy adjusting entries into Profit and Loss (P&L) and Balance Sheet accounts
  • Use SAP Enterprise Resource Planning System (ERP) to make journal entries and report all conventional ICE, Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) and Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) warranty coverages

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field of study
  • Two (2) years of experience as a Financial Analyst, Warranty Analyst, Inventory Analyst, Product Cost Analyst, or related role
  • Two (2) years of experience with the following: Financial Reporting and Analysis; Accounting Software and ERP Systems; Internal Controls and Auditing; Data Analytics; and Reconciliation and Consolidation.
