Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the application, validation, and launch of fastening and inspection solutions from MRL 4–7 across global GM facilities.
Align Scope of Development Work (SODW) with MRL 4–7, manage the transition from development to plant implementation.
Ensure solutions are technically robust, operationally ready, and integrated into plant processes, MPS, and program timing.
Lead a cross-functional team of manufacturing, automation, and process engineers.
Partner with product engineering, R&D, ARC, technical experts, plants, and suppliers to deliver consistent, high-quality manufacturing outcomes.

Requirements

What you’ll need

10+ years of manufacturing experience with a strong focus in manufacturing engineering in assembly or powertrain.
Demonstrated experience in fastening or inspection systems (for example, torque tools, vision systems).
Proven ability to motivate teams, set clear objectives, and deliver results through innovative thinking and disciplined execution.
Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical topics for diverse audiences, including senior leadership.
Master’s degree or higher in a technical or managerial discipline.
