About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide on-shift quality engineering support for Orion Assembly production operations
  • Serve as primary quality engineering contact for assigned areas, leading containment and problem identification
  • Support various activities to reduce defects and rework
  • Maintain continuous improvement of PFMEAs, Process Control Plans
  • Act as quality liaison for VAA modules, ensuring compliance with quality requirements
  • Document issues and drive resolution through processes
  • Participate in audits and contribute to quality review meetings

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, quality, or engineering
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or related technical field, or equivalent experience
  • Experience in plant quality and/or supplier/module (VAA) quality
  • General knowledge of print reading, GD&T interpretation, and part measurement
  • Working knowledge of PFMEA, PCP, PPAP, SPC, BIQ/BIQS, and structured problem solving
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams
  • Comfortable working 2nd shift and providing hands-on support on the production floor
