About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead Passive Safety and Occupant Protection feature, system and solution testing (manual and automated) on virtual, bench and vehicle test environments.
Work cross-functionally with system safety, system engineering, design release, suppliers etc. to develop robust test methodologies for safety critical features.
Lead test automation development and execution
Collect data using advanced test equipment.
Analyze, review results and document failures via PRTS, Jira etc.
Author validation reports (CG190 etc.)
Participate in Agile ceremonies (PI planning, DSU etc.)
Deliver configuration calibrations to support different vehicle platforms.
Support regulatory and compliance relevant initiatives for Passive Safety and Occupant Protection features.
Lead system test issue resolution initiatives
Lead best practices and process improvement initiatives.
Support program team reviews and demos.
Maintain communication with cross-functional stakeholders.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of 4 years of experience with proven technical and professional skills in Engineering.
Bachelor’s degree in electrical/computer/software engineering, or Computer Science
Experience in programming/scripting (Python etc.)
Experience with Test automation framework (Autobot, Autoval etc.)
Valid US Driver License
