About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and lead the GM Energy business planning process.
- Drive strategic alignment and execution for GM Energy.
- Shape board- and executive-level narratives.
- Lead the development of senior leadership messaging and content.
- Orchestrate GM Energy’s operating rhythms and leadership forums.
- Manage GM Energy-wide meetings and events.
- Act as a primary point of contact for GM Energy.
- Execute special projects and analyses as required.
- Travel as needed (up to 10%).
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
- 7+ years total experience in business planning, strategy, operations, or similar related roles.
- 3+ years of demonstrated experience leading or supporting strategic business initiatives.
- Proven strategic thinker with effective interpersonal skills.
- Highly professional, organized, and self-directed self-starter.
- Ability to synthesize complex and varied topics into clear recommendations.
- Demonstrated leadership, change management, and communications experience.
- Strong ability to influence without authority in a matrixed organization.
- Demonstrated strong written, oral, and PowerPoint communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency with collaboration and productivity tools.
