About the role
- Provide legal advice on labor, contractual, and compliance matters.
- Manage litigation and general legal claims efficiently, coordinating with external counsel when required.
- Develop, implement, and maintain legal policies and procedures to support the Legal function.
- Draft and respond to cease-and-desist letters, legal notices, and administrative claims.
- Assist and represent the company in hearings before public authorities and regulatory bodies.
- Deliver legal trainings and guidance to internal stakeholders.
- Manage judicial and extrajudicial payments.
- Oversee and maintain legal case management systems for judicial and administrative claims.
- Provide legal support to commercial areas and participate in legal projects aimed at improving business policies and processes.
- Ensure proper management and control of the Legal department’s budget.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Law with at least 3 years of experience.
- Proven experience performing similar legal functions.
- Strong knowledge of labor law, contracts, and compliance.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Fluent English.
- Portuguese proficiency is a plus.
